Els Vinyerons Vins Naturals is the offspring of Amós Bañeres Merinero & Alex Ruiz Masachs born from their passion to produce wines of character and pure Catalan juice. Since a decade ago, they started a deep and long process to select those vineyards that have the potential to express the essence of a local variety, land and landscape. They keep seeking vineyards all around Penedes territories and only when they get excited for some location they decide to go ahead with a new wine. They both agree there is no other way to produce natural wines with solely local varieties. Spontaneous yeasts, low intervention, no industrial enological products, letting the wine go their own way and passion for wine! This is their philosophy.  Nowadays, the vineyards that they cultivate are spread in different municipalities: Vilafranca del Penedés, La Munia, Font Rubí, Pacs and Sant Martí Sarroca. All of them present typical singularities of their different types of soil: depth, insolation, orientation, planting frame and pruning methods. All of their wines are named after local insects that inhabit their vineyards, as a symbol of a healthy and well-balanced ecosystem, and a tribute to the land of Catalunia.
